Stick & Stitch designs are singular use, water soluble embroidery designs suitable for embellishing a whole range of project bases from canvas totes, clothing, shoes, pretty much anything you can stab a needle and thread through!
These designs are pre-printed onto a sticky, dissolvable stabiliser. Simply choose your design, peel the backing off and place it sticky side down onto the surface you’re going to stitch on.
Stitch your design as you like and when finished, submerge in warm water to dissolve the stabilizer and then let it dry.

*If not using pre-cut packs, you’ll need 3 yards of a solid fabric and 3 yards of patterned fabric cut into 84 10-inch squares (42 of each).
Backing: 4 1/2 yards
Binding: 3/4 yards
Batting: Full/queen-size package or 2 1/2 yards of 90-inch width
Special tool strongly recommended: 14 x 14-inch rotating cutting mat
Tips for Selecting Your Fabric: The Piastrella looks great in any fabric collection, modern or traditional. One of the tricks with this quilt is keeping all your cut pieces in the right order to make chain piecing easy. Therefore, less experienced quilters will find the solid-and-print combination an easier approach. For a more complex and unusual look—but a little bit harder sew—use all printed fabric from the same collection.
